Durable Woven Wire Mesh for Precision Screening and Filtration

Banaraswala manufactures woven wire mesh in SS304, SS316, GI, brass and aluminium for industrial screening, filtration and separation. Available in plain, twill and Dutch weave patterns from 2 mesh to 500 mesh with custom sizes and pan-India supply.

What is woven wire mesh?

Woven wire mesh is manufactured by interlacing metal wires on industrial looms, similar to how fabric is woven. The result is a precise, uniform grid with consistent openings that makes it ideal for filtering, sieving, and screening applications across industries.

Plain weave

Each wire passes alternately over and under adjacent wires. The simplest and most versatile pattern, suitable for general-purpose screening and filtration.

Twill Weave

Each wire passes over two and under two adjacent wires, creating a diagonal pattern. Produces a tighter, more flexible mesh ideal for fine filtration.

Dutch Weave

Uses thicker warp wires and thinner, tightly packed weft wires to create an extremely dense surface. Used for high-precision filtration down to 2 microns.

Frequently Asked Question

Trusted in more than 100 countries and 4 million customers.

Which industries commonly use woven wire mesh?

Woven wire mesh is widely used in pharmaceuticals, food processing, chemical manufacturing, mining, water treatment, agriculture, oil and gas, and general industrial filtration and screening applications.

Can woven wire mesh be used for fine filtration?

Yes. Fine woven mesh, especially Dutch weave variants, is suitable for high-precision filtration and can be used to separate very small particles in industrial processes.

Do you manufacture woven wire mesh in stainless steel?

Yes. Banaraswala manufactures woven wire mesh in SS304 and SS316/316L, along with materials such as GI, brass, phosphor bronze and aluminium, depending on the application.

Is woven wire mesh suitable for outdoor applications?

Yes. Stainless steel and galvanised woven wire mesh offer good corrosion resistance, making them suitable for outdoor, humid and demanding industrial environments.

Can woven wire mesh be supplied in rolls and cut pieces?

Yes. We supply woven wire mesh in standard rolls as well as cut-to-size pieces based on customer specifications and project requirements.

How do I select the right woven wire mesh for my application?

The right choice depends on factors such as mesh count, wire diameter, material, aperture size and operating conditions. Our team can help you identify the most suitable specification based on your application.
